DeLaSalle High School
St Anthony Village High School
The rain had been strong during the early portion of this week including yesterday when it rained for 10+ hours. The ground needed it though because Gross National Golf Course soaked it all up like a sponge with only small amounts of standing water visible in sand traps. The sun peaked out from the mostly cloudy sky a couple of times today and the wind was light. Gross is really starting to get green, it feels like spring is here!
Nathan Fagerlee led the way for the Huskies with a 52. He was also co-medalist along with three other golfers from De that finished up with 52’s, as well. Brady Anderson finished up with a 53, and Connor Martin and Noah Herlofsky carded scores with 57’s. The young guns, 7th graders, Jack Hagen and Ted Trench also competed on the JV squad this afternoon. The jv squad will get another crack at DeLaSalle next Friday when they travel to Columbia Golf Course to play the Islanders.
