Frank White Speaks to SAVHS Students

St. Anthony Village High School was honored to be visited by Mr. Frank White on October 11th.  Students from the SAVHS Dare2BReal group and our captains council had the privilege of listening to White speak on a number of topics.

White is a Minnesota sports icon.  A product of St. Paul, White is a former athlete, coach,

and sports administrator.  He currently coordinates the RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) program for the Minnesota Twins and serves on the Minnesota State High School League Board of Directors.  White is also the author of They Played for the Love of the Game: Untold Stories of Black Baseball in Minnesota.  

Mr. White spoke to the captains council and Dare2BReal about leadership, the racial history of the Twin Cities and sports, and current social issues within America today.
