Meet Recap

The St Anthony Huskies traveled the Columbia Heights Thursday afternoon under cloudy skies and chilly temps for another friendly match between near town neighbors. The Hylanders of Columbia Heights are in the midst of a rebuilding season after graduating several from a strong team that went to State in 2016. The Huskies, with a mixture of old and new talent took it to the Hylanders with a 6-1 victory.

Winning for the Huskies were singles players Nick Kroening, Kevin McCann, Tenzin Chaksam, and Quinn Benda. Doubles victories came from the teams of Sam Kroening/Marshall O’Meara and Sean Jhnson/Mark Mathison. Seniors Henry Scamehorn and James Klaesges had a close three set loss at 3rd doubles.

Next up for the Huskies is Edison on Friday. Both JV and Varsity will be playing at home, so it will be a good chance to come out and check it all out.

Wednesday (4/26) – Irondale (Varsity home, JV away)
Thursday (4/27) – DeLaSalle (Varsity and JV home)
