The Minnesota State High School Coaches Association declares Friday, March 10, as Minnesota Prep Coaches Day. On this day, the MSHSCA would like to recognize coaches for the important roles they play in their communities and in the lives of athletes.
Coaches around Minnesota have had an immeasurable impact on the students they work with. These coaches have helped student-athletes develop confidence, self-discipline and character. They have also taught these student-athletes the value of hark work, perseverance, goal setting and time management. These life skills, learned from coaches and participation in sports, are invaluable in life.
Minnesota Prep Coaches don’t coach for financial or personal gain. They coach because they have a passion for seeing students grow as athletes, and more importantly, as people. Give thanks to our St. Anthony coaches if you see one around today or this weekend, we are thankful to have them.
